As a verification agency, we are constantly asked by our clients to recommend recognised,
legitimate charity organisations which comply with the requirements as stipulated
in the B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice for Socio Economic Development.
To assist in achieving this recognition, we have launched a program whereby we will
verify the beneficiary status of charities. This service will be provided free of
charge to charities that comply with the definition of a NPO or PBO as defined in
terms of the South African Income Tax Act as amended.
The certificate is not a B-BBEE scorecard, merely a report reflecting the beneficiary
demographic of the charity. This certificate may be presented to donors for inclusion
in their Socio Economic Contribution calculation on their B-BBEE scorecard.
